Collective wisdom: Now that I have a JPI 830, I have all of this data, and more precise numbers for temps/press, etc, I'm noticing that my oil temps rise rapidly to the preset "alert/warning" of 230. I thought this was only happening because it's been so warm (85-100+F) but it's happening on cooler days as well. I've tried increasing the airspeed during the climb, which obviously helps, but it's not like I'm climbing at Vy and full power, so it's kind of concerning. Generally I'm at 23 or 24 squared, and leaning to keep CHT's below 400 (except damned #2), and running W100+

What oil temp should I start getting worried? Any advice? Thanks in advance.
