Hey all,

I have a Dual G5 install, with a Garmin 340 intercom and a 530 as the main nav source. (No autopilot) We use the altitude preselect on the AI regularly as a good visual reminder of assigned altitude. The manual refers to both visual and tone alerts to approaching altitude and deviations. I have never heard anything, so wondering if anyone have any specific knowledge or experience with that.
