Decisions:
Planning to purchase a twin here soon and have it pretty much narrowed down to either a B58 Baron or Turbo Aztec F (Rocky moutnains close to here). Aircraft will be based Fort McMurray (CYMM), Northern Alberta Canada.
I need deice.. Aztec is Known Ice and baron is de ice. Baron has side door, Aztec front only.
I think overall Aztec(truck) carries more.
baron faster on less fuel, sexier, but I hate the yoke across the front of the panel.
Aztec reported cheaper parts and to maintain.(third hand, my mechanic)
Mission 1 hr+ Fort Mcmurray to Edmonton, and 2hr+ to Calgary 4 people most often, 6 at times. Twice a year Fort Mac to Southern Ontario. 4 people.
I have 400+ hours driving an aztec and only a few in Barons to be honest. Just looking for input from those who may have flown either or both....
