I have a 74 Warrior and sometimes the fuel gauges will drop to empty and if you tap on them they come back up. Here's the weird part...if i adjust the panel light dimmer (far right of switch panel) all the way bright the fuel gauges go to empty when I turn it back down the gauges return to the proper quantity. Obviously I don't rely on them exclusively as a visual check is the safest way to go, but it has got me wondering what is going on.

Thanks for your thoughts!
