New to the forum, did search and no answers found.

I have a wobble-like activity in the two fuel level gauges. They fluctuate from known level to 5-10 gal and back to known levels randomly, during level cruise flight, and do so in parallel. none of the other guages fluctuate. The guages read known level correctly, both full and empty, and the fluctaution is always towards the lower levels. The gauges also move closer to empty as expected on fuel management, and do not go to zero, except when tank is actually known to be close to empty. I have an JPI 830 with FF, but disconcerting. Appreciate advice and guidance!
