Hi All,

Returned from the Bahamas yesterday and got a discharge light on the fancy EI voltmeter as we came in.

I watched the voltage slowly decay and shut everything down except what was needed for safe continued flight. We made it back to PBi with no issues.

I pulled / reset the breakers in flight and received no change as well. I checked the belt at pbi and had plenty of power and a handheld backup to restart after customs and get back to homebase 8 miles away.

I de cowled and looked over the airplane back at home base and noted that the alternator belt was fine and all connections were good too.

I leaning towards pulling the alternator to have it looked at but from those that are experienced with this sort of thing are there any other indications we should be looking at? I plan on meeting up with the A and P later today as well.

thanks!
