My plane has the autopilot controls installed at the bottom of the panel. For shorter pilots with the seat far forward this can mean your knees get extremely close to the controls, and they are hard to see regardless.

Yesterday I rode along in a similar warrior that had the controls mounted in the lower left panel location, which makes much more sense. Behind the panel in that location I have just an empty space, so I don't see any reason that I couldn't move the control. Is there a bracket that mounts in that location or do I need to fabricate something? The parts manual shows the install location, but seems to indicate a mount should already be there.
