What do you need for a week's stay at an island rental cabin? In our case my wife and I assembled the pictured mountain of "essential" stuff that she was quite certain would not fit in our Arrow. I weighed each piece, totaling a bit over 250 lbs. No problem at all with MGW if we kept the fuel to 50 gal, which was plenty for the round trip, and I easily worked out placement that kept the CG well in front of the aft limit. But all that stuff in our "little plane!" Turns out it was no problem at all -- everything fit with ease, and we didn't even need to remove the rear seats. So don't let anybody tell you that Cherokee cabins are too compact for comfort.
