I have a 69 140D. I come from learning on a Cessna where carb heat is on during decent, and having it on during landing. I our cherokee, the POH says not to use carb heat during landing in case of a go around. For fun I thought i'd look at a Cessna 172N (0-320H). Its manual says heat on during landing.

Is there a reason for not using heat on a piper over that of a Cessna?
