On the dash? Too hot in the summer

On the window? Suction cup is unreliable with altitude changes

I fought with both of these issues and I think I finally have the mount I like. I use my stratus for GPS and backup attitude so a solid, reliable mount was key. I also wanted it out of view for night flights but still reachable for charging/status lights.
I used one existing interior screw with a washer and then drilled the other through the interior plastic. Fit is super snug and sturdy!
