In my 1976 Cherokee, the Com 1 and Nav 1 have been replaced with a Garmin 430 but the Com 2, Nav 2, and audio panel are original. After being in the air for a while I noticed that the audio panel and both number 2 radios get pretty hot. The switches and face of the audio panel are uncomfortable to touch and the two radios have big plastic knobs so they don't get too hot but the face of the radios get to the point they are uncomfortable to touch as well. The 430 stays nice and cool but it it normal for the other radios and audio panel to get so warm?

Thanks for any help. :)
