The last two times I have started my Dakota, it has been a bit hard to start. Outside temp about 50F, prime it three times, mixture full in, then pulled back to the detent (the previous owner suggested this). I crank for about 4-5 seconds, but it doesn't fire, do it again for 4-5 seconds, same thing, then the third time it starts after about 2 seconds.

In the past it would almost never catch on the first try, but would catch on the second.

When it is warm, I do not prime it, put the mixture at the detent and it starts on the first try after maybe 2 seconds.

I am not sure if there is too much fuel (too much priming or mixture too far in) or not enough.

Thoughts?
