Trying to work on a starter plane purchase (1965 Cherokee) to accompany my PPL adventure. I have about 50 hours in so far and should have it punched by end of year at the current rate. Wanted to procure a plane that would help me build hours safely and keep in the family to training other members and maintain piece of Americana and keep it out of the boneyard/Death Row. :twisted:
Can someone look this over and tell me what I have and what I would need to focus on first to get this interior cleaned up? Can the yokes be replaced with later models with PTT button embedded for both sides? What about the radios and why is there no base plate for the fuel selector? Other comments or concerns? What is the 4 position selector near the EVEN/ODD reminder in the middle of the avionics panel?
