I read that 235/236 essentially a 260hp engine which is de rated to 235hp. Is there a way to make it generate 260 hp? I know Orest mentioned of some abandoned project by piper on those lines. But what's the difference in engines? If you change the governor setting to e.g. 2500 or even 2600 instead of 2400 redline, what's the ill effect? Is the pitch range same for props on 260 and 235?
