The more I fly the Cherokee 6 / Saratoga, the more I think this is the plane I'll buy. The roominess and ability to haul a load are huge plusses for me and my friends and family.

Can anyone help me with links or give me opinions about the 260 versus 300 versions? I've heard the 260 has a higher useful load, but elsewhere I read it's really underpowered and barely wants to fly.

My mission: 4 adults 2 dogs plenty of baggage and decent fuel 70 gallons. Don't care about speed. I do fly high density altitude from time to time....8,000+ feet (Big Bear).

Thanks all in advance for any info you can provide!!!
