Hi all.

Is the following normal?

If I were to take the throttle control all the way back, it will shut off the engine as if completely shutting off fuel flow.

I am by no means an expert on plane carbs, but I have never seen any other engine based machine do this i.e. the carb/throttle adjustment is typically set so that there is never a complete loss of fuel at the beginning of the throttle range.

On the 172 I trained in, if I pulled the throttle all the way out it simply idled as I would expect it to do.

Thanks
