Wanted to see if anyone has actual knowledge of the SunSpot36-4313 and the XEvision - XV-36-SL as far as which one has the brightest illumination on the runway. Both of these are landing lights with the approx. 10 degree light spread. The specs favor the HID, however, the local IA recommended the SunSpot.
Here's the specs:
LED SunSpot 36-4313 - 11, 000 lumens with 150,000 candela
HID XV-36-SL - 5300 lumens with 750,000 candela

Both are PAR36 bulbs that will fit into a Piper Warrior center landing light bezel. Both bulbs are approx. $600

Any opinions on either of these? Best regards!
