Hi Everyone,

I approached a pilot about selling his plane a few weeks back.
Didn't really think much would come of that other than to be social.
Now he has expressed interest in selling so he can purchase something bigger.
The plane fits most of my mission criteria and I "think" I can afford it.

This is both very exciting and scary at the same time - first purchase and all.
Im hoping some of you can help me stay in bounds... as it were.

The plane is a 1984 Archer II with 3100TT and 900SMOH - Mattituck.
I have no more information yet and will not be able to look at it for a couple of weeks. I did take a quick look when I first spoke with him and it is clear the plane was well care for. Aged, of course, but in generally very good condition.
The plane has the original instrumentation with no current tech for upgrades.

What should I be looking for and how much should I expect to offer him.

Thanks,
Chris
