After completing a flight yesterday, I noticed the bottom 1/2 inch of the vent tube for the right tank was barely hanging on. It came off, leaving 3/8 of the vent tube protruding below the wing. The bevel cut in the vent tube is now missing, leaving just the round open end in the slip stream. If flown, will a vacuum be created draining fuel from the tank? Do I have to replace the vent tube now, or can it wait until annual. Any information would be appreciated.
