I have a 1974 -151 with a 160hp conversion and typically run 2500rpm lean until rough then richen until smooth. It seems no matter what I do I rarely burn more than 7 gallons an hour usually 6.7 or so. It seems to me that is a very low fuel burn typically returning 110 +/- knots. Just wondering if I am just the lucky owner of an exceptionally frugal airplane or is that about right?
