Figured since I'm done lurking here I'd post some pictures of the interior refresh my father and I are doing to my 140. First thing we tackled was the carpet. The carpet and the underlayment were original. I had noticed that the Cherokee had that "old boat smell" and when we pulled up the carpet and the underlayment the uh, ick factor, was pretty high. We ordered new carpet from tnwings. There was some minor tweaking that needed to be done to get it to fit. Some elbow grease getting the old glue off and some 3M 90 later the new carpet was down and the old boat smell was gone.

This weekend I took off the overhead console, carefully removed the decals, hit it with some SEM plastic prep and repainted it with SEM Color Coat. Did the same with the shoulder belt covers and the intercom plug covers. Then went over it with some clear coat. All the recommendations to use SEM products from this forum were spot on. This stuff works like magic on the trim plastic and it all looks brand new.

I had some good luck fixing some small cracks in the plastic with the old CA glue / baking soda trick.

The headliner is still in good shape, however its discolored and I'm tempted to try the white shoe polish that's been mentioned on here, but I've also heard a lot of people have had luck with the same SEM Color Coat on headliners.

Here's a link to a gallery, I don't have any before of the trim, just take my word that it was pretty beat up :)
