My oil cooler is up front in the nose bowl. IIRC it's bolted on using 4 bolts that go through the oil cooler and have nuts on the back. Last year I just put aluminum tape on the oil cooler and it seemed to work fine. I'd like to buy/build a plate though, anybody know if piper makes/made one and is it a PITA to put on? Or can I just make one myself?
