After engine start with nothing on except the master (avionics master off, rotating beacon on)?
What does it read with all the avionics on and all lights on?

My scale goes from 0-60 amps. It reads 30a just after start and quickly drops to around 10a and never seems to drop below that. With all the avionics on and all the lights on (3 landing lights, center & 1 @ each wingtip) it reads over 1/2 scale (30amps +). The landing lights are halogen so the 10-15amps they draw is not concerning. It's the fully charged battery still drawing 10 amps that concerns me.

My a&p says it sounds normal.
