I have a problem our radio.
It can be crystal clear, than all of a sudden it can get garbled. ATC always says 5v5 on a radio check.
However hearing ATC is garbled. When i hit PTT i can barley hear myself. conversations between pilot and passengers can get garbled.
It seems to be sporadic, i can go from slight garbled to very garbled. listening to other pilots talk to ATC can almost be unrecognizable.
Radio is a MX 170C.
Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?
