I need new wind lacing for my Cherokee. what I've found online from aircraft sources is not cost effective. A 6' piece of cheap vinyl sewn over a 6' piece of foam for close to $200. plus shipping of course. So, I have a nice hide comming from Tandy, enough to do my seats too. for about the same price. I'll get Th' Ol' Lady to sew it up. and I'll have my windlacing for about 1/4 the cost, plus new seat covers. And all in genuine cow hide.
What's up with the cost of interior stuff for airplanes these days?
OBTW, cow meets the burn cert with no additives.
