Question pertaining to the factory Brittain tip tanks as I never flew one so equipped and the paperwork at hand appears vague.
Still involved with the restoration. There are sender units with floats in the tip tanks. Are the sender units specific to the panel lights displaying the solenoids are selected to On or are they used to display tip tank fuel quantity on the Aux gauges with tip switches selected to On or do they function to signify the tips are empty illuminating two annunciator lights in front of the pilot?
The factory panel is original and there are no individual gauges for the tips.
