Our PA32R-301T recently developed a significant mag drop on the mechanical side (Surefly on the other), and we found that the plastic parts inside the magneto had started decomposing (300 hrs since overhaul)!
Our original thought was some sort of failure in the pressurization system, but the components checked out.
Since Continental actually incorporates a moisture filter in their pressurization system, wondering if anyone else has experience this problem with an alternate solution?
