So I fried the motor on the minimax tug after 2 uses, as I have a grade into my hangar, which is no good for their design, and minimax refunded my $$, and Greg was very helpful with the process, first exchanging the Miluakee 28 v for a corded dewalt, but it was still incapable. Weird, because it's no more than a few inches of grade.... but it is clearly explained on their website, and the unit is very well built with robust hardware, and there are other guys who've been using them for years without issues.

Other guys here at the airport have golf carts, but I don't really want to buy a golf cart just to tug my plane 20 feet out of the hangar.

Also, I have wheel pants, and the couple times that it was towed by the maintenance shop, I think they just used something that goes over the flat tabs instead of one with downward facing pins, resulting in scratches and paint peeled off the tabs and top of the nose gear wheel pant.

Any suggestions?
