Tow Bar

Does anyone know of one of the universal tow bars that will work for the nose gear on a D Aztec? The collapsible tow bar that is in the nose baggage fits into the 2 small holes on the front of the nose gear but I am wondering is there is any bars that will work on the center of the wheel as I am trying to rig up or weld a bar that can be hooked to a pintle hitch on a tractor. I don't like using the small holes on the front since there is no way to lock it in and it risks popping off while towing the aircraft.
