New to the forum. Haven't flown in about 8 years(house and kids) and Im thinking about getting back into it. I like to fly out of chicago MDW and renting at 150 an hour just hurts. One of the questions I have is how much of the work can you do on a plane yourself legally ? I ve been wrenchin on cars and bikes for years and I think I could handle alot of the smaller to medium stuff. Im thinking about a cherokee or warior to start out, possibly something that needs a little work.
