Can anyone tell me what Piper means by 'standard altitude' in the owner's handbook performance sections?

I fly a 64 PA-28 235 and everything is a function of density or this standard altitude and I can't find a verified definition of that. I'm assuming it's pressure altitude but want to make sure.

In one chart (altitude conversion chart) they even have one of the axis show "standard density altitude" and temp on the other axis.

I'm lost - do a bing/google search - you can't find anyone using the term 'standard altitude'...what the hell Piper?

Thanks!
