Hello, I have had a time finding a good radio repair shop. I had a problem with my KX155. It appeared to be an Antenna problem and was confirmed to be so at a radio shop in central North Carolina. The radio shop was very busy and suggested that I have my A&P do the install. Install completed and the problem still persisted. Took my plane to Tailwind Aviation in Beaufort NC they fix the problem for a fraction of what I had already spent and now my radios are perfect. Also, I had a corrosion problem on my belly behind the battery vent. It has been very difficult to find an expert to even consider the small job. Tailwind aviation cured my corrosion problem and the paint job was amazing for a very reasonable price. If you need work done on your plane, give them a call. You will very pleased with the job and the price.
