Received the bracket for my PAI700 vertical card compass, and I have two questions.

1) Can the bracket be installed without removing the windscreens?

2) Currently, the stock compass has a rivet type fastener holding the case to the vertical member up front. Should the same type fastener be used to mount the new bracket, or was I supposed to get something with the bracket to mount it?

Yes, yes...an A&P will be observing the work, of course. Just checking before it gets that far.
