I thought I would take a minute to share my experience.

I contacted Superior Panel Technology on Friday Feb 5th around 3:00 pm to talk about their fiber lights product and to get some technical info. Ken Whitaker answered the phone and we had a conversation that lasted about 20 minutes. While on the phone I emailed him a picture of my panel and he helped me put together a lighting package custom fit for my Cherokee. Although I was only shopping for information, I decided to go ahead and purchase the lights. I paid over the phone and went about my day. Much to my surprise, my lighting kit arrived at my office Monday around lunch time. Everything was neatly packed and there were even some extras in the box that Ken threw in with some personal notes about how to make my install easier.

My brother and myself started the installation Tuesday evening after work and working for about 2 - 2 1/2 hours each of the last three nights, we finished up tonight. I must say I am super happy with the results. Installation, although tedious, was simple and straight forward. The results are very pleasing and I would definitely recommend this product to fellow pilots looking to upgrade the lighting in their panel. While I have not yet flown using the new lights, the results inside my dark hangar are terrific and I am sure I will be just as pleased in the air. The whole system draws .06 amps and has a 40,000 hr life. For around $400, I couldn't be more pleased.

Just thought I would share in case anyone else is considering this project.

Thanks, Paul
