I bought 77 Pa28-161 last year and am slowly making improvements/fixes. Started with a GTN-650 GPS and GTX-330 Transponder, fixed some unexpected problems like a new voltage regulator/over-voltage relay and a new wing tip (oops) and now going after some cracked plastic. We just realized that the flap handle grip won't allow the shield to slide off the flap handle and we can't figure out how to remove it. Does anyone have recommendations on where find instructions for removing the handle grip.
