Piper PA 32 Landing Light circuit breaker pops

I have a unique issue with my PA 32 -300 Landing light.

With the master on the landing light works on the ground. circuit breaker does not pop

With the engine running on the ground, the landing light works and circuit beaker does not pop

soon after take off or in flight the circuit breaker pops. Have tried reseting it once it pops immediately again

Once I reset it on the ground I cannot duplicate the probelm. At a loss how to trouble shoot . Looking for some advice
