I'm a new subscriber, so please excuse me if this question may have been answered in the past.

Can the APR on the side of my Arrow-III (under the spring-clip door) be used to trickle-charge my battery by connecting a "Battery Tender" to a Piper Jumper Plug (Aircraft Spruce #11042, ~$30)? It sure would be simpler than having to rig up a kind of electrical plug connection to the battery through the back of the luggage compartment (if that's even legal).

Thanks.
