My 1969 PA28-140b w/150 hp engine is having a the engine overhauled starting next month. I was talking to my mechanic about possibly upgrading to 160 hp. Is this practical? What type of performance (speed and climb) can I expect w/increasing to 160 hp (only 10 more then my 150 hp). Is this upgrade worth doing? Is there a weight increase going from 150 hp to 160 hp. Please advise further.
Thank you.
