I noticed that that the Onyx Plus and EZR XM receivers now have an optional bluetooth docking station which will eliminate the need for an audio cable to your audio panel. These just came out and are only available in a few XM stores (Best Buy does not have them yet). They are running about $39-49 now but prices should drop soon as they become more available.
