My Warrior has developed a slight oil leak, appearing to come from the case seam. Re-torquing the bolts didn't seem to fix it. It's a fairly minimal leak all in all, but it drips directly onto the muffler, creating a ton of smoke in the process. We're talking about very tiny amounts, I've never noticed a drop on the dipstick, but JUST enough to create some smoke.

My A&P is concerned it could potentially start fire. I did a ground run myself today and judging simply by the amount of smoke it produces, I tend to agree. He tried to seal the seam more with RTV, but it only slowed the leak slightly.

He tells me the REAL fix is to split the case - in which case I might as well rebuild. Unfortunately, most of my available cash is tied up in my upcoming wedding - so I can't exactly do that right now.

Any brilliant solutions from the community?
