We bought a Piper PA28 140 (150 HP) During of "type rating training" we experienced the burning of paint of nose gear plastic cover, under the hole of exhausting pipe. Opinion of previsious owner and us: the cause of phenomenon is the continously full rich operation (we flew only training patern, a lot of times). I would like to ask: did anybody experience similar phenomenon?
