I've posted a couple of questions and gotten some helpful feedback from members, but wanted to introduce myself. I'm a new plane owner of a fixed gear Saratoga purchased from ASI (Pristine Aircraft) from Ohio. I took delivery about a month ago, and it has a fresh engine done by Signature, new paint and interior, a solid panel (530w/430w/HSI/Century 41 a/p, GTX with traffic, etc. I've been flying since I was 15 but training was start-stop through school, med school, residency, work, etc, and have about 250 hours, and most of that time is in Cessnas. I've had 10 hours of time-in-type training at a local FBO (I'm in San Diego) and did a couple familiarization flights in my plane when I took delivery, and brought a CFI along for a long trip (9 hours total) to the Humboldt county (far northern California) which was a huge help in learning about the plane.

I'm based out of KSEE (Gillespie Field) where there is a lot of GA activity, flight training, old warbirds, formation flying, some corporate jet activity, and a ton of hangar flying. I'm looking forward to years of safe, fun travel and memories, and would like to meet new, like-minded people in the area or plan some group fly-ins or getaways. As a recent transplant from the east coast, it seems like California has a lot more getaway destinations for pilots. (ie, Mexico, Catalina, camping, hiking spots, mountains for skiing/snowboarding, etc.)

Thanks for all of the helpful information I've found on the forums. Here's a few pics of the bird.
