Hi, The treads on my mains are getting pretty thin. After reading articles in Piper Flyer (June '14) and Light Plane Maintenance (October '14), and looking around on this forum, my thought is to get retreaded Desser 600-6 6ply Monsters along with their Leak Guard Butyl tubes.

My 1967 Cherokee 235B Owner's Manual says the mains are 600-6 6ply, but both Sky Geek and Aircraft Spruce show 600-6 4ply for the PA28-235 on their sizing tables. Any ideas why? Any other thoughts on getting the retreaded Desser Monsters?

Thanks!
