I just purchased a 73 Challenger and took my first lesson it yesterday. Wow she flies great, but I digress....
I have a Narco MK12D and the display is bright but the 1's look like 7's which caused a little concern as I tried to contact departure but I had the incorrect freq selected. Here are the options I am considering. Which one would be best???
1. Buy a replacement display and let the hanger elves replace it.
2. Take it to a Avionics shop for repair.
3. Just live with it since I now know that the 1's and 7's look the same
and just figure it out by going up or down on the freq to determine if a
1 or 7
