What is the best way to clear out the fuel vent lines from potential mud daubers on a Dakota? It would seem that you'd have to remove the tank screws, slide it forward and blow compressed air through the vent line towards the outlet on the bottom of the wing. Is there an easier way? Turkey baster to suck it out?

I have locking fuel caps that don't have a rubber nipple in the center, but I assume there is still a vent in the locking mechanism, right?

What it the best thing to use to protect the fuel vents on the underside of the wing from mud daubers. Is inserting a pipe cleaner a couple inches a good solution (which should still allow fuel/air to flow).

I suspect I may have a partially blocked vent on one side as my fuel pressure seems to fluctuate (3-5psi) with altitude (lower presser at higher altitudes) and I don't think it did that in the past. I need to see it it behaves differently on each tank.
