I had a few instances where after I completed my Pre-Flight (Checked fuel in gascolator), and during initial taxiing, I would get a slight engine stumble. This has only happened during preflight taxi, with the electric fuel pump off. No issues that I have experienced in flight. Tried several times to replicate the issue without success. Safe to assume Mechanical fuel pump getting tired? Stumble is small enough that passengers (including a CFI during a flight review hadn't noticed until pointed out).
