Ok so maybe an unusual question but as history records Max Conrad flew an Aztec on wheel skis off snow in Antarctica some 1200lbs over max gross.

Just wondering if anyone has any info on the skis used...

I know aztecs are put on floats but would seriously be interested in wheel skis option for northern operations.

I don't know that it has ever been done since and Max did crash the aztec on a later flight.
