Hi All,

I'll soon be due to renew my insurance policy for the year, and have received several quotes from AOPA.

I have a '72 Arrow II with about 2700 hours on it, 200 SMOH.
I've moved from MA to WA this past year, and still have the aircraft on the ramp as I look for a hangar (5 year wait list at the field I'm on!)
I have only one rating, SEL
I have about 500 hours total, with ~370 in the Arrow

Last year, while hangared in MA, I paid ~$1600 for a 1M smooth policy with 85k hull. This year I'm being quoted anywhere from $2000 to $2100 for the same policy. I'm being told that the different states and my lack of hangaring the aircraft are the main factors. Does this number make sense to you guys? Does anyone have any recommendations for insurance carriers to contact?
