Insurance question

Hello all, I’m a looking at purchasing my first GA aircraft and was wondering how the insurance works on engine that are part their TBO time? I’m looking at purchasing a 74 warrior that has 1870 hrs on engine and have been told that if you go past TBO and have an engine out they may not cover it. Also as a low time pilot of 130 hrs will I be paying a premium for insurance?
