Just thought I'd throw this out there for someone who may be a little more "electron friendly" than me. Went to update my iFly unit the other day and it wouldn't turn on. Just flashed the opening screen for a fraction of a second and the screen turned grey. Great. I was using a 12vdc adapter that just plugs into a 110vac outlet and the cigarette lighter end plugs into it. It worked OK last fall. I contacted iFly and they said it sounds like there might be an issue with the adapter. I then plugged it into the cigarette lighter outlet in the car and presto, works fine. I checked the 12vdc adapter with a multimeter and it shows 12.75 vdc output. Any ideas?
